The best ribs and scalloped potatoes I've ever had! I'll definitely be back soon! I was visiting from California.

Having visited the KCMO area over the years (our son moved down in June 2001 to take a promotion), we've had the pleasure of visiting several wonderful restaurants throughout the city and 'burbs. We have visited Jack Stack kore than once, but last night's experience was exceptional. Because of traffic conditions, we were forced to change our reservation not once but twice! The hostess was understanding and reassuring us there would be no trouble getting a table. We were seated promptly and our fantastic server, Emma, greeted us with a warm smile and pleasantries. Spit, spot. Drinks were served. Orders placed and the appetizer served. Our guests were wowed by the huge, uniformly sized DELICIOUS onion rings. And commented on the yummy horseradish sauce. The plates were presented next. Lovely plating! Bravo to the kitchen crew!!! Our guests were pleasantly impressed with the size of the restaurant, how busy it was for a Wednesday evening and tremendous service we the received. Emma was a ROCK STAR! We appreciated the attention to detail on food due to a couple of dietary concerns. Again, the kitchen staff exceeded our expectations. Many thanks. The place is well lit, comfortable, roomy seating. It's a bit loud for we old folks wearing hearing aids, but we managed just fine. You know we'll return. And hope to SOON!

This was the first time I had ever tried the famous Jack Stack and I have to admit I was BLOWN AWAY. I a so glad there is also a location in Overland Park. I didn't grow up in Kansas City, so I don't often crave BBQ (I know!), but this place has probably changed my mind. It was the first time I had BBQ Turkey, and I loved it. The meat was so tender and juicy. At first I was upset that they had put BBQ sauce on it, but by the end I wanted it on every bite of my meal. Everything I had was delicious!! I cannot recommend this place enough!! Also, when we arrived the parking lot was completely full and the place looked packed, but we were seated within minutes. Our waitress was also very lovely.

Chain - Awesome KC BBQ Even though it's a chain, awesome KC BBQ! We tried the chicken wings, pulled pork, scalloped potatoes, and fries! Everything was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious! Stop by a Jack Stack for KC BBQ!

probably a 4.5*. I had to wait a long time for my takeout even though they texted me and said it was ready. The brisket, chicken, salad, beans were excellent as was the sauce. The burnt ends were overcooked and dry even with sauce. Coleslaw was good. Broccoli was good but portion very small. Price was reasonable for the amount of food.

We went here for dinner to celebrate a birthday. This is my first visit to this location. It is beautiful inside. I like the chandelier lighting. For dinner, I ordered their two meat entrees with briskets and burned ends and side order of beans and corn. Delicious, cook to perfection. The meats was really tender just as I like it. Sauces were delicious. I also ask for their spicy BBQ sauce. Waitress was tentative. We had a good time and good meal.

They're dangerously delicious and the perfect accompaniment to a hearty BBQ feast. If I ever find myself facing a culinary execution, you better believe my last meal request will be from Jack Stack!
